Classic easy salad vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (for a more mild acidity use rice vinegar)

  • 1 tsp dill

  • a squeeze of lemon to taste

  • 1 tsp of honey

  • 1 tbsp fresh salad herb mix (I used a store bought mixture here, but you can also mix together your own herbs that you like, like celery powder, garlic powder, Italian herbs, red chili pepper…)

  • optional: pinch of Maldon or pink Himalayan salt to taste

Steps

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Drizzle over your favorite salad base and enjoy right away!

I like to use either Maldon salt or pink Himalayan salt for their higher nutritional values than table salt. These salts are not refined leaving more trace minerals such as potassium, magnesium and iron. These minerals, and more, aid the body’s natural detoxification process.
